Drabble: Nighttime Favorite

Pairing: Jasper/Seth, Luka/Embry (pre)
Prompt: Continue this… (A continuation of “ Favorite”)
“So… Embry imprinted on Luka correct?” Jasper questioned as he watched Seth get ready for bed that night.
“Mhm,” Seth answered as he fluffed his pillow. Luka had been tucked in an hour ago, insisting that Embry be the one to tell him a story that night, and was now fast asleep. Sue and Embry were set up in the two guestrooms for the next few days.
“How does that work?”
Seth blinked and looked over at Jasper. “How does an imprint work? Shouldn’t you know that by now Jazz?” He teased.
Jasper’s lips twitched. “You know what I mean… Luka is four… Embry is…” He trailed off because he honestly didn’t know how old Embry was, a couple of years older than Seth he knew.
Seth smiled as he came over and wrapped his arms around Jasper’s waist. “Embry won’t do anything inappropriate to Luka, if that’s what you’re worried about. We are what our imprints want us to be. Right now, Luka probably wants an older brother and playmate… in ten years or so that may change to something romantic but it may not, it all depends on what Luka wants.” Seth looked up, meeting Jasper’s eyes. “Does that put your mind at ease?”
Jasper sighed and pressed a light kiss to Seth’s lips. “Yes. Thank you.”
Seth smiled again and released his hold on Jasper. “C’mon cowboy, let’s go to bed.”

Embry lay in the bed of the guestroom he had been given. He laid with his hands behind his head, wearing just a pair of cloth shorts, a thin sheet drawn up over his legs. He sighed softly. When Sue had asked him to escort her on this trip he had hoped to maybe find his imprint… he had never imagined that his imprint would be Jasper and Seth’s son.
Luka was a beautiful little boy. He had a lot of Seth’s features though wasn’t quite as tan as Seth was, and those eyes… wow. He was a little shy around strangers but that could only be a good thing. Luka had warmed up to both himself and Sue before he had gone to bed. He had even demanded that Embry be the one to read him his bedtime story after Sue gave him his bath. Embry hoped Seth and Jasper would let him move close so he could watch Luka grow. Embry was very curious to see what kind of man Luka grew to be.
A soft knock on the bedroom door drew his attention. Embry threw the sheet back and got to his feet. Crossing the room he opened the door, looking ahead expecting Seth or Jasper but no one was there. He blinked and then looked down. His heart melted at the sight. Luka stood there in his Power Rangers pajamas, holding his teddy bear to his chest. Embry kneeled down so that he was eye level with Luka.
“Yes Luka?”
“Teddy had a bad dream,” Luka said softly holding the teddy bear tighter.
“He did? Does he want me to get your Daddy or Papa?” Embry questioned.
Luka shook his head. “He wanted you. Could teddy and I sleep in here with you tonight?”
“Sure buddy, c’mon.” Embry stood and held out his hand for Luka to take, which he did. Embry got Luka settled in the bed. “Goodnight Luka.”
“Will you tell us another story Emy?” Luka asked curling up against his side.
“I think I could manage that… let’s see… once upon a time…”
