Wise or not, I decided to make a
SPAM POST OF DOOM!
So, my version of this works with a few simple guidelines and a few warnings and disclaimers on the way ;) Be sure to read through the entry carefully first!
THE SPAM POST GUIDELINES
The purpose is for you to post whatever pictures you want me to turn into icons! Whatever topic, whatever fandom, whatever you wish. The reason I made this post was that sometimes I feel like broadening the topics of my icons, and I think that the way to get fresh ideas would be exactly this. As long as you participate, of course. Also I think that this is a nice opportunity for you too, as a thank you for 100 members! Please just keep in mind the following:
· This is not a request post. If you want a personal icon, don't ask for it here. If you want the icon to be made with 100% certainty, post it rather to the request post itself, it's there for a reason.
· I don't promise that I will make an icon out of each picture given to me. Simply put, I'm not that good, and if it turns out that the picture is too hard for me to work with I'm not necessarily able to make anything decent out of it. I will try though, always, I promise that.
· If you want me to icon a certain photoshoot, certain magazine scans or something similar, please provide me with a possible link to the original place where they were posted. This way I can make sure I can credit the original scanner/screencapper/whatever. This doesn't rule out the possibility of giving random pictures without credit too, I know that some pictures simply float around internet so no worries.
· You can post anything, from single pictures to whole photoshoots, but it's always up to me which ones of them I will turn into icons and when.
· There's no time limit for me. I still go to school, I have some other projects running meanwhile, so it's not certain I will have time for making icons always, and it's not certain that I will feel like making icons always (although usually I do XD). So bear with me, and again, you can always turn to the request post.
· Please post the pictures as links if they're big! I don't want the site to take forever to load, and it makes it harder anyways if you post them as pictures. Links are much nicer :)
· I know I said you can give me whatever pictures you want, but I have a couple of restrictions: no extreme nudity and no pictures that aren't suitable for all audiences. I don't want to see hc porn (there are other places for it XD) or someone's brains smashed all over the asphalt. Ick.
· Please tell me who the people are in the pictures! I don't care if it's evident, or if I know it already, just make sure and tell me nevertheless. I might be braindead enough not to recognize some people I should recognize. Same goes with TV shows or movies, tell me from which the pictures in question are (if there's many from the same one). This of course doesn't apply for the possible stock images and such.
· Most of all: post as many pictures as you wish! Everything is appreciated :D
