...I cannot express to you how awesome reading this was without making my words sound jumbled up and gleeful and fangirly and everything that falls into those categories! This is so refreshing and new! I'm a big fan of old mysteries with the Gangs and Mob Bosses going around the whole 'turf and the like. It would be wonderful if you continued this as a series, I'd worship you forever. xD

Overall, great job! :)

Heh, I toldya I had an awesome idea. Alas, I'm not much one for series. i get an idea, I write it, and then typically I move on to another idea. If inspiration strikes peryhaps I'll dig Detective Sokka and his Boomerang .357 magnum out and dust them off, but I wouldn't bet very much money on it, were I you.

... love.

So. Much. Love.

I was reading this halfway through, and then decided, "I MUST read this out loud. To someone else. Because it is that awesome."

My sister loved it. And now has a film noir running in her head. Man, this totally has every single convention from that genre, and does them well.

I love you.

I'm glad to hear that the piece felt like Noir. I was a bit worried about that, as the sum total of my Noir experience has been the Noir bit with Colin Mochrie and Ryan Stiles on Whose Line Is It Anyways, and a few other parodies. It's good to hear that I got the feel right.

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I'm just a guy with a Boomerang .357 Magnum

Best. Line. Ever.

You do not have any idea how much this brightened my day- I mean, I woke up this morning not wanting to go to school AT ALL, and then I read this and thought 'Huh, maybe today can be pretty good after all.' <3 <3 <3

Hee, yes, I rather like that line, although I'm more partial to 'Hearing a dame pillowtalk you in limerick gets irritating after a while'. The weapons in this fic were actually a bit of fun: I went and dug out my my old book on guns, read for a few minutes, immediately remembered why I had put it away in the first place, put it away again and then consulted Wikipedia.

I'm glad that you enjoyed it that much.

This fandom needs more crack!AUs. Especially well-written ones.

Man, I love Sokka's tone throughout all of this XD And I can so see your Whose Line influence, LOL. I LOVE all the tiny little details you put in, like the tape recorder and the pipe and the GUNS.

THE GUNS, LOL.

I see someone's watched the modern version of Romeo and Juliet >_> :P

But yes.

SO much love for this, you won't even believe. ♥
