Results and Changes
Okay, so I've tallied the votes on the poll I had created and have made changes to the community based on your feedback! Thank you for your help and support! Please read this post to understand how avatar_recfest will operate from this point on.
So 48% of the voters thought that Avatar_Recfest should be a reccing free-for-all... so I've made it just that. From now on, all members may post recs whenever they would like. :)
However, do keep in mind that the rules still apply.
Also, the voters have unanimously decided that the fics without enough votes from the Great Avatar Fic-Reccing Thread should continue to be recced within this community. But, thankfully, if you still have a fic request, you can still post it--now, the only thing is that it would prevent other members from adding non-relevant fic recs to the community. However, I'm going to put on the Mod Hat and let you know that these fics can only be recced by people other than the poster who initially posted the fic in the Thread (p.s., if you voted for the fic in question, yes, you may rec in the community).
Finally, I'm happy to let you know that I've archived all recced fics within this community at a del.icio.us account. You can now search for recced fics by author, character, genre, rating, length, ship, and attached warnings. :) Happy reading!
