MOD NOTE: And we have our first submission of the round. We have a great fic from Loopy777 and some awesome art by Victogt. I most likely butchered the formatting on this one and I apologize for that, but please enjoy regardless! More is on the way.

I'm going to read the whole thing when I have time (still wrapping up my fic, and by the way I just recovered from computer issues where I didn't have access to my fics for over a week and was using another computer to check the internet, so the fact that you extended the deadline was so much a life savior I can't even begin to thank you) but in the meantime I have some questions:
I don't see any heading on this with rating, pairings, warnings etc. Do you want me to supply one for mine?
Are you going to do a separate google page like Round 1 had where all the fics are in one place or will they be posted here only?
Thanks!

I hadn't realized a google page was the way to go. I'm sorry, I'm still new to this whole thing. I'll try to set one up in the next few days.

Any Pairings: Mildly implied Smellerbee/Longshot.
Rating: Teen
Summary: Between their first encounter with the Avatar and Jet's death in Ba Sing Se, something happened to break the Freedom Fighters apart and drive them away from their home. This is that tragedy.
Notes: Thanks to Lavanya Six, for generously being a beta reader for this story. Without her, it would have been a much weaker tale.
Also, much love to Victogt for the picture. I love the stylization and composition, and I don't think Smellerbee has ever looked more hardcore. The violence is tastefully done, bold but stylized so that it doesn't come across as gory or gratuitous. Hopefully, my writing accomplishes the same thing. :D I'm very grateful that Victogt picked my fic to illustrate, and appreciate the work put into getting it done on time with the story. The illustration was the reason I chose to do this long-in-the-making tale for the Big Bang, and I couldn't be more satisfied.
