whats a grass roller?

Do you see the greyish black thing with a handle next to the tree in the middle? That's a grass roller. It's a big wheel that you fill up with water and you roll it over the grass. The weight of the wheel pushes the new grass (sod) into the original dirt and allows the grass to adhere and grow better. :)

yay for grass. im getting some finally in the backyard. cant have any in the front really. but we gots a whole lot of plants and trees in the front. maybe ill post some pics of the front yard. we arent done in the back. maybe next year we will be done landscaping. but its fun. alot of work. but its gonna look good when we are done.

Yay! We put the grass in ourselves, and it was a LOT of work. We were all so sore and tired. It's fun to see it done though. It took us five years to get this far in our front yard landscape. :P Hope you have fun doing it! :)
