Is anyone else REALLY disturbed to hear that James Marsters is going to be playing Piccolo in the live-action release of DRAGON BALL Z, next year.

So, so, so disturbing.
Even more disturbing, I'm probably going to go and see it when it comes out.

Physically he seems a good fit. His face is very exaggerated in an anime-villain esque sort of way, too. I can see where they were coming from with that.

And, in my experience, whenever an actor totally catches me off guard by doing a movie I would have otherwise thought they'd be abhorrent or out of place in, I discover that they're actually really talented. (example, Jim Carrey in the Truman Show, Will Smith in I Am Legend (the movie was...grrrgh...but his acting in it was spectacular, I thought), and Heath Ledger in Dark Knight) I kind of expect to be surprised in some way. Plus, I really really have no idea what kind of actor he is, since the only thing I know him from is Buffy.
