I enjoy the Stephanie-and-Ben series of posts.

Ah, posse comitatus. I make sure to bring it in to teaching _Beowulf_ to my seniors if for no other reason than to show them how a word sticks in the language and evolves. That, and wergild, essentially payment for damages or settling out of court, depending on the Anglo-Saxon context.

I couldn't even remember what happened in that episode (I have since looked it up; end of S3) but I knew it was the damn of a damn episode and that There Should Be No Doubt.
