No, I'm not dead. Law school, etc. But for those of you who care, I do live in one of the parts of Mpls that was hit by the tornado, but we're fine. Bored and electricity-less and car-free (also the buses aren't running) (I rode my bike a couple miles to the nearest Panera) but the house (rental) and the cats are fine, as well. A tiny bit of damage

Relieved that the cats are OK, was really worrying about them...

Yep. They were under the bed the whole time, which is just fine for them.

I'm glad you guys are ok, that your landlord is a good guy and that kitties & property didn't get damaged.

Yea, what about the elderly or someone who can't bike to Panera?? Shouldn't they have ... IDK, a pamphlet or something being delivered so people know wtf is going on?? GEEZ.

A pamphlet would have been nice. Even a single sheet of paper with the information (maybe in multiple languages). I don't know. People. Sheesh.
