Anything with a pairing that has the least expected character being a Demi.

DemiSexual? Explain, or this is just a a PC way of saying intersexed?

It was literally the first thing google brings up, if they'd bothered to even try to look it up themselves.

And yes, I'm rather fond of this prompt myself. It speaks to me on a personal level. =D

And I want this prompt to happen, too.

Wow you win the internet because you lmgtfy'ed me. I was drunk and on acid when I wrote that comment and unwilling to Google shit. Didn't mean any offense, but this doesn't matter in the grand scheme of life and I don't know you and you don't know me and we really don't matter to each other. We are both drops in a flood. I hope you get a fill for your fic about people who don't have sex until they feel "emotionally connected" to the other person.

DA

Hey, don't shame any sort of sexual identification. That's not okay.

That wasn't my prompt. The only thing I did was answer your question since you didn't want to do the work yourself (because you were busy doing something that's illegal in most countries, at that..?!).
I would like to thank you, anon, for being so dismissive about the validity of demisexual identity (which, as someone who identifies as a demisexual, and had long before she knew there was even a word for it? Not irritated by that in the slightest. Really. [/sarcasm]).
Thank you for also being dismissive about my efforts in helping you not confuse the difference between an intersexed person and demisexual identity, while leaving your unnecessarily defensive comment.
Perhaps you should lay off partaking of the "drink and acid" combo until you can recognize when someone is trying to prevent you from making a complete ass of yourself. I will not be responding again unless your attitude has changed.

You might want to talk to someone about your slut-shaming "sexuality", or at least, educate yourself on the fact that demisexuality is slut-shaming, and has an element of misogyny, given that slut-shaming is usually used against females.

.. what? No, what? Okay, seriously. How the hell is the fact that I, personally, have never been sexually attracted to anyone slut shaming?

Actually no. Don't bother answering that, I don't want anything to do with feeding mouth-breathing trolls. Identifying as demisexual is not slut shaming. It means that you, yourself, do not get attracted to people until you get close to them mentally as well. Stop being a dick and please go away from this thread.

It’s not because anyone is trying to ~police~ your identity. It’s because “demisexuality”, the term, the identity, specifically creates distance between those who ID as such and those who are condemned widely by society for engaging in casual sex.

In a world where people, especially women, are punished for being seen as sluts, the kind of attraction/sex relationship inherent in demisexuality is really seen as ideal. Remember “True Love Waits”? Remember “Abstinence Until Marriage”? Remember how these are things still being taught to kids in health class?

or, you know, you could google "demisexuality"+"slut shaming".

Oh, the irony.

I know about that post. I happen to disagree with it whole-heartedly. Demisexuality is about how I personally identify.
Demisexuality is not about casting morality judgement on others.

It is something where I used my own experience and extrapolation to say that I, myself, do not find people sexually attractive without knowing them. If someone else happens to find sex extremely fun and pleasing? I don't give a shit. Because that's them. They're not shaming me because I don't have sex and I'm certainly not shaming them because they happen to enjoy it. The real problem with statements like "True love waits" and "abstinence until marriage"? That's people shoving their own ideas and prejudices onto others. Just like you're doing. You are, after all, telling me that my own experiences and my own identification is wrong and shameful all because I identify as demisexual.

No, because I have no interest in feeding a troll, especially one that insists on telling me that I do not exist because my experiences are invalid.

edit: That is to say, I will not be responding to the troll at all again.
