[Crossover] Inception, Avengers style anonymous November 8 2011, 07:08:30 UTC
Inspired by this, http://yaoi-yaoieverywhere.tumblr.com/post/12467256609. Avengers Inception!AU. Gen is fine, but Steve/Tony would be especially lovely. One-shot, long fic, whatever you want to do, dear nonnie.

Tumblr is nice because you can just make sure that you follow people who don't get into wank or post hate or anything. And then everything is Spn feels and everything hurts but not in a rage-inducing way.

I find that when it comes to SPN posts, it usually hurts good and hits you in all the right ways. Haha... How long have you been watching SPN?

I marathoned it at the beginning of January. I'd been meaning to watch it for years, but I just sort of never did. Then I watched it all in two weeks, lol.

I suppose it's a little late, but welcome to the family business :)

Better late than never, though, yeah? I take it you've been watching it for a while?

Been watching since the first season. But I only got really into it during season 3 because that was when I finished high school and as such had tonnes of time to waste in front of the telly. :) Can't wait for the next season, though. It'll be interesting to see what the writers will come up with.

I am so excited for season 8. I mean, Jeremy Carver taking over as showrunner bodes so well. And I'm really hoping they take advantage of the Purgatory thing. Some time apart could be really good for the boys. And hopefully it means we'll get some Dean-centric storyline.

Yeah. Totally! But who is to say that Sam isn't going to spend all that time getting Dean back, and Dean trying to get back to Sam? Balthazar said it right when he called them 'erotically, co-dependent'.

I just wanna see Dean happy. And Sam too.

Oh, no, they're definitely going to be doing everything to get back to each other. But I think it might do them a lot of good to be apart and grow on their own and realize that they can be okay without each other, because they really are unhealthily attached. I just hope Sam doesn't wind up being like he was in Mystery Spot when Dean was dead. I want him to, like, join up with Garth and Jody and be awesome and get Dean and Cas back.

I'll raise a toast to that. Hopefully next season they'll bring back more of the Impala. I missed the Impala this season, so when Back In Black started playing and I heard her engine purr... I was whooping at the top of my voice, no shame.

Do you remember Bobby's last words to the boys? I have a creeping feeling about it. It's probably a red-herring, but knowing what the SPN writers may get up to, it may also be something more.

Oh, we absolutely need the Impala back. I wasn't really too happy with season 7 as a whole, so I do hope season 8 is something quite different.

Yeah, we'll have to see about that. I mean, as far as I know, there are no definite plans to have Jim Beaver back next season, but that could be entirely wrong. If it means, say, we'll get another heaven episode where we can see a bunch of other characters we love, that could be pretty excellent.

I have been wondering, though, what exactly goes to purgatory? I mean, we know leviathans do, and we can figure that vampires, werewolves, and so on do. But do we really know where ghosts go? And what about angels? It could be really interesting to see who Dean and Cas might run into in purgatory. Though I hope they don't bring back Gordon. I really did not like Gordon.

I like SPN's idea of heaven; the concept of a whole lot of different heavens grouping together to form a Disneyland-esque mega heaven. I'd like to think my heaven would be a library. Haha. You?

I've sorta given up on the storyline the moment Kim Manners died. He was top quality, man. I'm just here for the boys because I've tried giving up on this show a couple of times and it's because of those boys I'm even still here and still very much invested in it.

I'd rather not think about what goes on, in and about of purgatory. But yeah, Gordon was a skeeve. I know I wasn't the only one glad to see him dead.

I do sort of like that idea of heaven, but at the same time, I don't like that everyone is separated. It would be fantastic if Ash has, like, taken over and gotten the whole gang together in the Roadhouse or something. Have to agree with you, a huge library sounds like an awesome heaven.

Yeah, the storyline isn't really the most important thing for me either. I just need things to be okay for Team Free Will. I think Bob Singer or someone made a comment about how next season will dial back on the angst a little, though, which would be nice. There are a ton of characters I'd love to see back next season.

IKR? It's a booknerd's ultimate dream... *stares off into the distance*

SPN=/=Angst? The world will end. Or it already did? A little less angst is good, but... I don't know. I kinda like the angsty-ness of the show. Less angst from Dean, I'm all on board. I love the guy best when he's cocky, smiling and driving down the highway in his baby.

I'd love to see Balthazar back again. Someone needs to bring back the sass :DD

Lol, well, I'm sure there will still be angst. Because yeah, what would Spn be without angst? But Dean really needs to talk to someone and manage his problems in a way that isn't alcohol-based. I'd love for someone to confront him about his drinking, because it's getting seriously out of hand. Angst is good, but a little bit less of it would be awesome.

Balthazar back would be brilliant. I haven't seen anything either way about him, though. I have heard there's a chance of Gabriel coming back.
