The rain rata-tatatated on the mansion's roof like a snare drum roll. The thunder thrummed in the distance, still twelve seconds behind the snaps and crackles of lightning. Steve stared out his bedroom window and counted the space between them to distract himself from...from everything, he supposed. From the night he couldn't stop thinking about, the kisses he shouldn't have given, the bed he couldn't believe he shared.

He'd just finished counting another round when Tony flung the door open.

"Are you watching this?" Tony motioned towards the window.

"Yeah. It's kind of beautiful if you just sit back---"

"Not the storm. You have to look down." Tony pointed outside, towards the concrete patio they almost never used

Steve pushed Thor's drenched shirt up and ran his hands up and down the god's back. He swore the rain picked up right then, drumming down on them as Thor pulled him in close and squeezed his cock through his sweatpants until he was hard. Thor yanked Steve's shirt off and he felt like he'd lost a thick layer of skin, but he leaned in closer, twisting Thor's dripping hair through his fingers. Oh. My. God. That was so perfect I had to de-anon. I thought I was the only person on earth that shipped them and then I got this and I'm just going to spend the rest of the night running in little circles because this was everything I wanted and more.

Okay, now. I'm totally new in the Avengers fandom and this was the first Avengers!fic I've ever read. ...and I'm liking it a lot. 8D I'd say I'm very happy this fic ended up being my first! XD

Thank you! Haha, I already am on the Steve/Thor side. Have been ever since I watched the Avengers movie and they were my favorite characters. (Even more after having watched Thor and Captain America movies.)

I wasn't actually shipping them in any other but just a bromance way until I just...suddenly started shipping them when my friends found all the fics. XD A good-looking man + a good-looking man = lots of good-looking hotness in one fic, right? :D

...I really need an Avengers icon.
