Tony really enjoys buying/building the other Avengers things they mention wanting or needing. Natasha mentions this obscure brand of expensive chocolates she once enjoyed on a mission and can't seem to find? Tony orders some in bulk. Bruce misses a certain tea, or mentions in passing that he wants a piece of lab equipment? Already bought it, and here I made adjustments so the equipment is even better than it was! Steve wants a really old film that's only on VHS and is really hard to find? Oh, I just had it in storage... Clint likes perching up high, but lacks enough places to do so in comfort? Was just about to remodel the place anyway. Thor mentions some obscure Nordic food that he misses? Tony knows just the place ( ... )

Yeah, after I came up with original idea, I now cannot stop making my own mini-headcanon where Clint and Tony bond over being geeky fanboys, and Bruce is in the corner making a fusion reactor, being kind of like Bones and not understanding the geeky references, because all he did in high school/college was study.

Cue Tony and Clint giving him a crash-course in fandom.

After some prodding from my roommate, I have acquired an AO3 account. So, I guess this is me technically de-anoning. I won't on here, however, for commenting around on others' fics. Call me shy. :)

I don't know how many of you are on there, but this fic and my other works will be going up there, slowly. AO3 is just waaaaay more convenient, long-term-storage-wise. Formatting will be slightly different on there, as I intend to consolidate related sections from here. (i.e. All of Bruce's part is one chapter, all of Thor's, etc.) Based on some of your comments, I'm relatively sure some of you are reading one of my other two current fills unknowingly, so a few of you may recognize the other titles going up there.

All active fills' priority will be here, however, so updates will always appear on the kmeme first.

Please let me know if you have questions and/or comments! <3

Tony loosened his tie while he waited for the elevator to finish its trip. He’d been back in Malibu for four days attending a benefit, and had landed back in New York only an hour ago. Usually, Pepper could be begged and/or harassed into attending those sorts of functions for him, but the foundation in question had grown wise to Tony’s game and insisted on him being the official keynote speaker this year, rather than just the financial figurehead. On top of that, the Malibu office jumped on the opportunity to corner Tony into going over business while he was in town.

He’d stayed at his old house there while he was visiting - and had been reminded all throughout those few days why he had abandoned that house for the new tower in New York in the first place. There were too many memories soaking it to the foundations, and staying there alone had only aggravated the sensation. Just walking in the door to the lower, business-centric levels of Stark Tower had been a huge relief. He used to loathe being around people, content to tinker away ( ... )

LKjdafkas Tony got what he wanted, he got the team in the mansion! Even if he's being a little standoffish about it. Because that's what Tony Stark does.

And yes, the gelato thing was something I left notes for myself after I lost my original draft to accidental unplugging of my computer. You should have seen my triumphant expression when I double checked that Little Italy was indeed not in Brooklyn, and that my joke would work. because I'm just that much of derpy idiot That may or may not have been the original lines of dialogue I built the chapter around. ;;>_>

I'm sorry to admit that I did something semi embarrassing when I read this promt: I started cooing. of course I have a young kitten who stared at me like I was mad! for then to guickly turn his back... really his whole being radiated "I don't know this crazy person and if I ignore her she isn't there"
