Would you ever consider writing a sequel to this? Cause this is utterly brilliant, and I'm dying to see Tony interact some more with Charles : )

I wish I could but I don't write Charles (or the xmen) all that well and I don't want to mess up a good thing by giving it a crappy sequel, you know?

I don't think it's possible for you to mess up Charles, but I do understand about not writing some genres comfortably-try as I might, I can never get Fury right, or any characters in the Batman universe : (. Thanks for the reply, and the amazing story : ) *trundles off to re-read*

Okay so great fill but... did Tony just kill Loki there? And nobody even shrugs?
And Thor is all smiley and okay with that... or did I miss something?

Because... if a simple neck-break could kill Loki he would be long gone, and Thor would probably kill anyone who kills his brother, so that bit got me confused as hell.

Or was the crazy lady not Loki?
I know it's not important to the plot of this story, but it still bugged me. Seemed way too unreal.

I know you've already got a fill for this, but the prompt spoke to me. I'm currently writing my own fill, though it's slow going. It's not quite what you're asking for since the characters are running away from me...as is typical.

Well, considering I can't do romance at all - or if I can it's really stilted and awful - it's not going to be a big factor in the story. I'm aiming for a pairing (it's a surprise so I'm not saying what), but whether it actually gets there or is just going to start (like pre-relationship) by the end of the story is another thing. I have to see where the characters take me. In any case, this'll be good practice for any future pairings I want to dive into.
I won't be posting here, since LJ baffles me and I'm not a big fan of the format, but I'll be putting up a link to where I'm going to post it. :)

IT'S DONE! And, erm...I got kind of carried away. It doesn't really follow the prompt word for word, and I think this is the first time I've built a romance from the ground up (and damn if it didn't feel weird), but I did it!
