Yup. You heard me right. Give me the 6 normal people that managed to catch the eye of an Avenger and the subsequent support group they formed with each other to groan over the super-hero antics of their lovers.

These are 6 people who get together to worry over the latest idiotic thing their Avenger has done, ("(S)He threw himself off a building!" "That's the ninth time this month!" "Oh that's harsh.") set up hexa-dates at various restaurants ("Yes, 12 people. What? Why do we need to state if there are civilians or not?"), and tell off villains for keeping their squeezes a little too long out on the battlefield. (So much so that even Loki has agreed to attack only on weekdays from 9 to 5 then break for Christmas and birthdays.They are 6 people who have diverse backgrounds and not all of their families (if they have any) agree with them dating the Avengers. But they get through it by being total bros with each other, just like the Avengers are bros ( ... )

Oh i like this, especially the bonus - thats totally something the media would try to throw out of preportion. Seconded!

Imagining them being referred to as "my Avenger", "our Avengers" is the best part of this prompt.

Hold on for a second while I catch my breath and try to figure out what I want to say.

Okay okay where to start? Where to fricking start cause I have no idea WHICH PART OF THIS FIC I LOVED MORE.

I absolutely adore the fact that Pepper was the organizing the meet in Avengers Tower no less (Do their Avengers know about this?) and of course there's always going to be that guy who's ridiculously early, that person who's on time and someone else who shows up... eventually.

I loved that Aeneas's mother actually called to see if he needed help with his boyfriend and he's all shifty about it.

Steve with Helen? I did not see that coming but I absolutely love that you thought of it! She has children and grandchildren and she's a strong sweet lady who won't take no nonsense from the media. It's exactly the kind of thing they'd make a fuss about!

Thor answering Nolan's phone is absolute gold cause Nolan's mom is all sorts of panicked, overprotective, and narrow-minded but Thor just handles it like a pro. "Her sphere is tiny and she cannot ( ... )

Wow! Thank you so much! I'm really, really glad you enjoyed this because writing OCs in this fandom is going out on a big limb. Also, I really want to thank you for this prompt because I've wanted to write Thor/OMC for a while now, but couldn't think of a good reason/way to go about it when canon-character pairings are largely preferred. All six of the OC partners turned out to be sound much fun to write!

Yeah, at first, I considered putting Steve with Aeneas, but then I realized he might totally go for someone from one of the previous generations. And yeah, the media would definitely run around doing crazy analyses of why Captain America might date someone with gray hair. *gasps* I didn't get in quite as much media reaction as the prompt asks for, but I hope that moment at ( ... )

Ahh this was sooo cute! I never thought Steve being with an older woman would make me so happy lol. I ship Stony (and usually don't like het) but that was adorable. For some reason I can see Clint being with a black guy lol (I hope that's correct, unless he's some sort of other ethnicity), and that was super sweet. And I love love love Natasha having a girlfriend! I also never realized how much I like that idea until reading this. Awsome fic :D

This is fantastic. It is going right to the top of my list of favorite fics (which is loooong. Yay meme!).

Of course Steve needs an old-lady girlfriend who can actually relate to his experiences.

And I want the further adventures of everybody! And lots and lots of FANART. SRSLY.

Laura is the best! Except they are all the best. I really wish this would be a long-running series.
