Holy cow, I was just watching a TV special about WWII and the Holocaust and this just made me tear up from reading the prompt alone

Erm...teeny bit of con-crit: I'm not sure why you felt it necessary to randomly break up Tony and Pepper when it had no bearing on the plot whatsoever -- I'm not a shipper of them (Bruce/Tony for me :D), but I know it could really jolt and distract some people from the substance of your fic and make them irritated at the randomly shoehorned-in major event and turn your fic sour for them if they ship the couple. I know it sure as hell distracted me because I went "huh?" and looked back up at the info box to see if it was a Steve/Tony slash piece that I had missed, and was wondering what the relevance of the plot point was and I had to read it twice before I realized it had nothing to do with the story at all, and then I had to read the story again in order to understand it properly with the knowledge that it wasn't foreshadowing something. Just a heads-up that other people might react like I did, or worse.

Amazing fic otherwise though! That letter made me melt.

Hi there. Thanks for your comment, to tell you the truth I know why I put it there, since when I started writing I thinking more of a pre-slash Steve/Tony there, but I got distracted with the letter and the actual request (which I loved) and thought totallty unnecessary to make it about any couple. Maybe I should have edited that part, but to me it explained why she wasn't there for something like this, so I left it. Thanks for pointing out how it can look, as it hadn't occured to me.
