The World Has Changed

"The world has changed, and none of us can go back."
Steve is not entirely sure how to feel about this.

I'd love a story that gives little glimpses into Steve's life as changes occur- they can be seemingly inconsequential things that don't seem like they'd matter, or big things that really do 'change the world', for better or for worse.
(When I say changes, I think it'd be neat to include things that happened in real life- the Depression, Pearl Harbor, etc., as well as fictional things that pertain to Steve- meeting Bucky, his mother's death, the Serum, waking up in the future, etc.)

CA:TWS Pre-Serum Steve

So how about just before the start of Captain America: the Winter Solider Steve reverts back to his pre-serum state. (How is up to the author. Magic, science experiment, Serum wears off...).

I have always thought that the Winters Soldiers memories (and protective instincts) would have been triggered faster if Steve was in his pre-serum state because that form that would've been more familiar then Steve's post-serum body.

Superhero Snowball Fight

Any team (the Howling Commandos, Coulson's team, any Avengers lineup, etc. plus whatever allies you want to include) has some free time somewhere with a lot of snow. Cue the kind of awe-inspiring snowball fight only possible when superheroes and highly trained secret agents get involved and start taking the whole thing a little too seriously.
