i couldn't answer this in poll format because i don't tend to put cigarettes in the same category with other "drugs" - i realize technically they are a "drug", and someone smoking would probably make me a little concerned for their health esp if they coughed a lot, but to me it's not the same thing

After filling out the poll, I'd like to clarify some of my answers.

I'd like to add that if there is lots of great wild monkey sex going on, it can go a long way to overlooking occassional drug use...

Well cigs and booze would be considered okay. They seem to be ok in society's general acceptable standards.

pot would be ok on occassion. but not if their life began to revolve around it and they spent all their time high and not caring about anything.

I know that X is the new chic party drug of choice. Being old and all, I don't know to much about it, besides what I saw on the showtime series 'Out of Order'. So I can't speak to that one.

The other drugs on your list are out of bounds. Yeah, a crack head is someone I really want to hang with. And an IV drug user is right up there with a petri dish as far as being safe to handle.

i know what you mean. there are a lot of factors that could go into it... for instance, i once dated a guy that smoke three bowls a day (morning, after work, and night) on top of drinking several beers a night and smoking a pack of cigarettes daily. yet that never seemed like a lot to me because i didn't see him that often - maybe a couple times a month only. the quantity just didn't seem that high because i didn't have to experience it on a daily basis. yet, on the other hand, if i see someone every day for a year and yet i see them do coke even once, that seems like a huge amount.

but you're definitely right that sex can make up for a lot.
