everyone should have pets at work

i've been thinking about dilatedeyes getting a betta, so today i went to walmart and got two. i also got two little frogs, and two fishbowls, and brought them to work.

they're set up nicely around the monitor, and they make me feel very calm and pleasant. i put my stolen budda figure next to one of them, and now my cubicle is a zen paradise.

ooo. what colors are the Bettas and what did you name them? mine are starting to realize that my hand = food. and everytime they see my hand, they go nuts, swim to the top, and dance around all happily until i feed them. little fuckers are going to be huge because i'm a sucker.

the one is very dark green, and it fades to blue near his tail. the other is a dark burgundy, then his tail looks like a mane of hair with green highlights. they're both pretty... i took the time to pick out nice ones, because ryan told me they're like cats, and sometimes you can get some ugly ones.

i haven't named them. i hadn't even thought of it... any suggestions?

Actually, I wanted to mention that the dollar store in North olmsted had zen gardens that weren't all that cheesy (no plastic) for $1.
