new user picture. i took it to illustrate my weird left eye. it used to be normal, but as i've gotten older it seems to have developed a bit of a slant to it. you can't see it in real life or in live action, and you can't see it when i look straight or right. but if i look left... there it is, all off kilter.
i'm sure it will right itself when i ( Read more... )

That's interesting, I have a loose left eye too. It's not enough to be lazy, the only time it gave me a problem was when I acted in high school plays and it would cross at odd moments. I couldn't really tell but the drama coach could. I wear glasses all the time now so it probably doesn't show much when it crosses.
My eyes are actually slightly different sizes, including the pupils. It's hereditary, dad's eyes were the same way. He made a point of telling me about it when I was young because he said if I was ever hit on the head, the docs would think I had a brain injury if I didn't realize my eyes were naturally mismatched. I guess when he was in the Navy some doc noticed it on him and told him that.

that is a weird coincidence. i don't think mine ever crosses oddly, or if it does nobody has noticed (including myself). i made an appointment with the eye doctor since some people think it might actually be a real issue since it seemed to come out of nowhere (some possible neurological issue, i guess). if it's just a bit of a lazy eye, i'm going to try to get some therapy before it before it becomes totally crazy.

your irises are different sizes, or your pupils? pupil dilation is a good medical judge of brain function.. i dunno anything about iris size, though.

the irises are slightly different sizes and so are the pupils. i suppose that means my brain works funny, it wouldn't surprise me :P

It's totally not noticable in person at all, did you make an appointment for your eye doctor yet? Maybe you'll get to wear an eye patch, afterall!

This is like, the Ashlee love thread. It's all good because you're still hot, beauty queen!

haha, i know, it's weird: i posted what i consider to be a pretty striking deformity (especially if it worsens into one of those crazy wandering eyes), and everyone's like, "you're so hot!"

and i love that icon, it's awesome, you can't see my freak eye anymore! email it to me at aventurine0@yahoo.com :) oh, and put a pirate on my shoulder, if you can. ;)
