foiled again!

i finally motivated myself to get up early and seek out a new checking account, but charter one wouldn't let me in on their great free checking deal - including the $100 visa gift card. all because my dad put my name on his checking account twenty years ago (when i was four years old, solely for tax purposes).

I like Citibank and when I was making money, so long as I always had $1500 in both my checking and money market, I was good to go... I got charged when I had less that than as a combined balance.

Let me ask you a question...

I have student loans that I keep putting forebarances on. Say I want to go back to school for another degree, do you think they will give me another loan...

Probably not, but it doesn't hurt to ask!

i should look into citibank. i need to start investing wisely.

and the answer is that they'll almost always give you another loan, in my experience. what are you going back to school for? since you already have a bachelors you can go back for a masters in any field and then you qualify for graduate-level student loans, which i think are $18,500 a year. it's awesome.

well, why not considering following that same field at the masters level instead? i think that you can still get loans as an undergraduate even if you already have a degree, but they're significantly less - like $3,500 a year or something.
