so i've been invited to go to chicago on valentine's weekend. should i go?

and if i do, what's to do there? i've never been there. anybody have any suggestions for entertainment and the like?

any good rockabilly bands there?

if you like him and he invited you, then you should go...

the magnificent mile is good for shopping... there's a hip-style area (the whole coffee shop/art/alternapunk scene) near U of Chi campus. the city is littered with good italian restaurants--the hotel can help with good ones nearby. navy pier can be nice for walks for talking, although a tad chilly now. several museums are grouped together, and they aren't stuffy like most cleveland museums. one might be nice for walking. i like the shedd aquarium a lot. i'd check out that chicago website that was mentioned elsewhere. and i'm sure if you google.com "rockabilly chicago" you'd get a ton of hits.

ohhh I adore chicago,

used to go there alot with my ex-fiance
when we lived in valparaiso indiana, about
an hour away from the city

a lot of really fantastic resturants
and small venues to see some cool musical
shows catering to a lot of underground music.

I'm sure you'll have a good time
