Congrats on passing the test! I am not that familiar with Europe vacation spots, but I do know of, and have been to some excellent vacation places in Mexico and the Caribbean. Plotting a vacation for myself soon. The rumours at work are that there is to be a slowdown after April 1st. Not sure where I will go yet. Maybe Key West, Florida; maybe Cozumel, Mexico; or maybe to one of the Bahama Islands. Have had great times at these locations in the past. Will provide more info if interested.

thank you!

i've been to cozumel as well and i enjoyed that greatly. in fact, i wouldn't mind going back there. i can only go anywhere at the end of march or the end of may. what other spots do you recommend?

I guess I should ask what you are looking to do while on your vacation to better answer your question. The Cayman Islands are a good cover all destination. A British colony, they are very American friendly. I have been to Cayman Brac twice. If you are into diving or fishing or just want to get away from it all, it is a good choice. Grand Cayman is known for it's beaches and night life. Haven't been on land at Little Cayman, but believe it is a lot like Cayman Brac.

Grand Bahama Island is known for gambling, great diving, and fine dining. Been there twice too. Not into the gambling thing though.

South Beach in Miami as well as Bayside Market in Miami are very interesting places. Both have shopping and great food, and you haven't lived until you have experienced the beach at South Beach.

Corpus Christi, Texas, is also an interesting spot.

Congratulations on getting your licence, what does it allow you to do?

it allows me to sell all types of insurance, which i never plan to do. :) the only reason i have it is because my company paid for me to get it and get licensed in 42 different states. they want it because it allows me to counsel customers on their insurance and some states say that insureds can't talk to anybody but a licensed agent.

hehe...that's funny. Sara and i dated for 3 and a half years and she dumped me for our drummer Roseanna...all this happened over a year ago so we're all pals again. Sara's not actually in the band. Roseanna and I used to be in a different band together. It's all a very long interesting weird story.

i know rose too. i actually really like her, i think she's a nice girl. of course, not being a lesbian, i never had to hide my girlfriends from her. but if it's any consulation at all, i think losing a girlfriend to her is a completely acceptable thing. what really stings is when they leave you for some white trash big nose ugly girl. :)

supposedly ibiza, portugal, is a common touristy place. i'm not one for taking a trip and doing only touristy things though... italy would be nice, i think. especially venice. i've been there and i loved it. but europe would be expensive over spring break, methinks.

i've never been to venice. i liked spain a lot, though. it wouldn't be that expensive because my spring break is at a different time.. i think it's a week earlier or later or something than the regular college break. it's over the week of st. patrick's day. also, i can get hotel discounts, so the main thing would just be the airfare. there's a sheraton spa in porto that i could stay at for $49 a night, and another sheraton resort that's the same price in san sebastian, spain, which is apparently a big vacation spot for europeans. since i'm basically just dealing with airfare, it's like $300 to fly somewhere in the US, might as well go to europe for $400, i think.

that doesn't sound too bad at all! i'd jump on that opportunity too! :)

England is always good, if you like rain and the smell of shit.

i was there once and the people were mean to me. they didn't like that i would say 'like.' i said something to the effect, 'is that like a law here?' and this guy says, 'no, it is a law.'

Lol, I very rarely venture out of my house into the big wide open cess pit that is England.
