today i nearly set the house on fire. in my haste to put it out, a flaming bit flew into my leg and burned me. i now have it dressed and with aloe.
this weekend was a good one, and it was nice of my friends to spend time with me knowing that it would've been a sad weekend for me. i went to an indians game with someone i actually think is cool.

Should I go see Fahrenheit 9/11? I've been thinking about it, but I'm not sure if it's worth the $8 or whatever the theatres are charging these days.

i would recommend seeing the movie, it's worthwhile. to me, it didn't really have any new information, it just presented it in a more digestable format. it really is basically a two hour news report, but it nicely lays out the connections between the bush family and the bin laden family. it details a lot of corporate interconnections that i'm sure a lot of people don't know about, but you'd have to be an idiot not to have realized it. it's worth the money, if for no other reason than to boost its profits and show the studios that the american public is capable of seeing something serious and political.

I definately plan on seeing the movie in a couple of weeks (unless the Berea School District finally decides to pay me for my work last year). I've wanted to see it because all of my friends at school take complete polar stances on Michael Moore in general - either the absolutely hate him and abhor anything he has to say, or they absolutely love him and live by his every word. I figure I should really watch this to hopefully be able to present a neutral viewpoint to them, because they refuse to admit that any view but their own can possibly be correct (hey sounds like most Republicans!).
