I didn't get the school scholarship. That's fine, I expected it, since the dean really said he wouldn't be giving any out to those who want to go to Japan. It's only for cheaper places, like Taiwan/Thailand/China. I get that part. But the way he said it was what I found cruel. NV

why would he say something like that?? also it´s absolutely stupid giving out scholarship for countries that are easier to survive in, that are cheaper. for some this feels like a clear bias in being against Japan. But how is Japan worse than any other country? Your reasons for wanting to come here are absolutely valid and plausible. Why shoudl you want something else when this is where you see yourself in the future - I mean in working with this country, in this country, with this culture, language etc ....

ugh, this kinda made me angry because it doesn´t make any sense :/
