that song is used in a lot of really important scenes. multiple ones in the first season of the o.c. also an angelina jolie movie where she was a lesbian.

I'm a sucker for pivotal movie moments.
eg. "Don't Worry Baby" at the climax of Never Been Kissed. Drew Barrymore macking Michael Vartan on a baseball diamond is a beautiful thing. Yeah, you're sad you missed it. I know you are.

i was watching the o.c. on much tonight (obviously) and it was the episode where ryan and taylor go into the alternate-universe coma. what a bizarre one. but anyway, there was a COVER of "fade into you" in that episode. AND a cover of "paranoid android." they got reaaally cover-happy in the last couple of seasons. i love it.
