You know, I don't think that's the wisest thing to hand in to a teacher either ... I'd suggest writing about something that's a little closer to her own experiences and of a less private nature. Like Viking invasions for example. That has lots of action and blood and gore and you can always blame your History class, if she doesn't like it.

Creative Writing, by the way? I thought that was only considered an actual subject in the USA.

But she said that for this assignment I had to write somethin' really real with lots of detail and stuff. Somethin' I saw for myself. She, uh, liked it, rather a lot, but said that I hadn't followed the instructions, 'cause there wasn't anythin' remotely plausible about it and wouldn't be gettin' credit for it. Then again, she also said if I wanted to write more for extra credit, I could do that, too.

I dunno that Viking invasions would be any closer to her own experiences... Thanks for the idea, though, Loki.

It's an just elective.

Alright, no Vikings. Try dwarves and giants at war then. They're always fighting. Or something about a swordfight anyway. Swordfights always impress the girls.

As a last resort you can try writing about family and blood feuds. She's got to believe you that you have a family.

But I've never seen any dwarves and giants at war. At least not with my eyes. Or a real swordfight, although my sister's husband was messin' around once and got his sword bent up.

And I've got lots of family, but they're not really the sort to have blood feuds. Unless it's with Mr. Tyler, maybe, but who'd wanna write about him?

A truly delightful account of angelic/demonic 'love and stuff' (I especially liked the bit where Aziraphale's wings popped out), what a shame that your creative writing teacher refuses to believe that it was a story based firmly in reality. If I were a teacher I'd be glad of having tales of Tibetans, aliens and witches to break up the monotony of reading recounts of teenage romances and bad days at work.

I do hope that you'll consider posting future creative endeavours here, you seem to have a real flair for writing about these two 'characters' and it does make a lovely change from reading his Awfulness Duke Ligur's, er... stories of violent, bloody revenge (speaking of him do you think that maybe you could perhaps have a word with him about his habit of inflicting Dementors Disrobed centrefolds on his beta readers? - I know you're neutral in the whole heaven versus hell thing, but as the boss's son he might just listen to you).

That's real nice of you to say. (That part was pretty funny. He just looked so surprised!) Yeah, I don't understand it myself, but she thinks that stuff has to be borin' to be important.

If anythin' else interestin' happens I'll be glad to write it up, if you like. I'm awful sorry that you hafta read Ligur's stories, but they're kinda funny in a weird way sometimes, though. (I'll try! I may be neutral but nobody should hafta look at that if they don't wanna.)

You're welcome. (Hehe it's so easy to picture, though would I be right in suspecting that he wanted to do it again at the earliest opportunity?) Maybe you could tell your creative writing teacher that your stories are accurate depictions of things you saw whilst taking large amounts of illicit recreational sustances (although if you don't mind me saying so the thought of what would happen were you to consuming LSD is more than a little terrifying). Alternatively you could just write a description of a game you and your friends played as children (one where the aliens didn't actually materialise ( ... )

(He might've... *grins*) I don't think Miss Bassett would like to hear about me takin' LSD (and you're right, it is rather disturbin' to think about). I s'pose I could write about the Them, but I haven't seen much of them lately and it's been kinda hard not knowin' what Crowley and Aziraphale are up to. I mean, their private stuff is their private stuff, but then they go projectin' all the time... It makes it a litte hard to concentrate sometimes.

Yeah, if people stop fightin' all the time and appearin' and disappearin' and doin' weird stuff then I'll have more time for writin'.

You did a favor for Ligur just to see Crowley without his clothes on? *laughs* Oh, you didn't hafta do that. It takes all I can do to get him to wear clothes sometimes. Never knew anyone who liked walkin' around without his clothes on more than Crowley.

I can see why Ligur'd like your house, though. It's prob'ly a lot quieter and has fewer angels around. (I'll bet. He's kinda strange.)

Oh dear. Are you sure this is entirely... er, appropriate material for school?

It's not school, Newt, it's University. You can do anythin' you want at University if you say it's artistic.

Well, if you say so... I'm sure in my day you would've been suspended for that sort of thing.

Nah, Miss Bassett just goes pink around the ears and asks for another week to grade them all properly. *grins*

evil but really just bein’ annoyin’ made a little happier by laughin’ at him.
LMAO you had me right there, too funny, all school papers should have humor ;o)
Good, isn’t it? Now tell me why that’s there if He didn’t want people to find it? It’s only in men, you know
Raising questions, another key feature for all papers, very good
But everyone deserves to be happy, even an angel and a demon.
Bringing up issues, very well done
As for me? I think they already know...
Great closing
All in all a great paper, funny, informative and conscious raising
A+++ :o)

Oh, thanks. That's real nice of you to say. I just wish Miss Bassett felt the same. I think she liked it, 'cause she said she wouldn't mind readin' more for extra credit, but she said it didn't 'fulfill the requirements of the assignment'. I think schools just want stuff that's borin'...

True, schools usually are focused on the boring
But I suggest you write more for her for extra credit -couldn't hurt ;o)

If I do, I'll put it up here, since other people seem to like readin' about them. But with a whole house full of demons, angels, personifications, humans, wizards, gods, and whatnot, who are always fightin' and stuff, I don't have a lot of time for writin'...

I knew I was missing out on some good stuff by neglecting these things. I knew it.

Oh, hullo, Hawkeye. I dunno about anyone else, but this is the only story I've put up if that makes you feel any better.

Hi. If you don't want me commenting on this thing, just say so and I'll leave. :)

It does, actually. I'm paranoid there's a bunch of activity going on in these things and I'm missing it.

No, you can comment all you like. If you look up, you'll see that Loki (not the one from Hogwarts - another one - well, another aspect of him anyway) has said stuff. So has Ligur's typist and a few other people who liked my story.

The only person I think is doin' stuff kinda like this is Professor Maturin. I guess Susan might be, too, but I haven't checked or anythin'.
