Hmm. I wouldn't go as far as to call that homophobic. In fact from my experience, where I live, I'd call it pretty much truthful of a large majority of gay men. Alot of gay men I know in partnerships don't have the rosey monogamous committed relationship they like to to portray to the heterosexual community. I only know of 1 gay couple that is committed and monogamous, and I see a huge amount of gay couples online after sex, either individually or together. I'm not saying there aren't alot of heterosexuals who aren't committed either - I'm just saying what is portrayed and what is fact isn't so in most cases ( ... )

Hmmmm. I'm almost caught between being outraged by this, but then remembering that no one with any intelligence reads the Daily Mail and mistakes it for anything having to do with relevant reality.

Its Daily Mail.
Lets not expect much, no?

Although "For once again, under the carapace of glittering, hedonistic celebrity, the ooze of a very different and more dangerous lifestyle has seeped out for all to see" got me.

My completely hetero ass goes to ponder now...

What article did you read? Disgusting and homophobic? Nope - not at all. Exploitive? Sure. But compared to the rest of the articles on that page, it's pretty tame.

Maybe it's time for an intervention to help you get over these issues you seem to have with your sexuality.

Um...I may be insensitive, but I didn't see the article as being very homophobic. Certainly not enough to be outraged and demand a retraction. It's sensationalistic, tabloid-esque reporting and nothing more. Sorry, it's just really not that bad.
