The part where you're really creepy by making a HUGE banner of yourself with your face for the internet to see while looking pretty desperate at the same time. The way to make friends is to read the community and to comment on the forums. If someone likes what you have to say, then you can be "friends."

The guys are having a go at you because you made yourself a blazing, screaming target. But yeah, there are better ways to make friends than 'looking for friends here's my pic'. You'll make more interesting friends just commenting and being witty, or sourdick's equivalent. Just be yourself, no need to get out the trumpets and the red carpet.

Well I must say, this certainly has made my morning.

But seriously though, you'd better either take the picture down entirely or put it behind an LJ cut. You've successfully given sourdick ammo and I found him genuinely funny today. That's never a good thing.

If you want friends then tell us why people should be friends with you instead of posting a very large picture of yourself. Posting a picture doesn't really tell us anything relevant.
