i m blessed with a switch in my brain that goes in "off" position when i learn a guy is straight. to me it just doesnt make any sense to be attracted to them. i may as well fall in love with brad pitt. whats the point?

My juniour and seniour years in high school I had this same issue. It helped that I met a really awesome guy who was gay. I finally got over him when he moved across the country for uni.

I guess my advice would be to find someone more available than a straight guy.

Well that's normal, if you spend enough time around a guy, and you like guys, it's bound to happen if you don't have enough self-control.

I've tried every trick in the book and the only one that seems to work is RUN WHILE YOU STILL CAN. Or you could see him less? Something like that.
