This is an idea I've been toying with for awhile, and finally decided to pull together! A lot of new fans have entered fandom recently, and a bunch of the older ones have started to move on - in any case, this seemed like a good way to encourage/rekindle the Adama/Roslin love. This is a list of 60 fics by 60 different authors (if I had chosen more than one per author, this list would be the size of a novel - I wholeheartedly recommend reading other fics by the authors listed here, though, so please check some of them out!). These are fics that, for whatever reason, I've saved over the years as good ones to come back to. I'm sure there's an element of personal preference, but hopefully this covers a range! There are examples of fluffy, angsty, smutty, plotty, and funny fics here, all starring our favorite couple.
This is just a sampling of the amazing work that the A/R writers have come up with, and doesn't begin to represent the amount of fic out there. If you'd like to find more,
Survival Instinct and the
adama_roslin community are both great places to start.
I know that I've left out a lot of great works, and I'll admit that I haven't been reading as much fic this past year, so this list doesn't have the best representation of some of the more recent pieces. On that note, I'd love to see further recommendations in the comments! If there's something that you think that should be up here, link me and I'll add it.
I hope you enjoy!
