Day 51
It's nice to know I'm not the only terribly shallow person in the world today.
Anyway.
Air fare is one of the most confusing things. Case in point: a Southwest flight from Oakland to Midway can cost as little as $120 - $150 if you don't want to deal with a layover. However, a brief look at the American Airlines website has brought up the same flight for over $900!!! Seriously.
In any case, I'm definitely going to Chicago for the last ten or so days of vacation, even if it means flying Southwest, something I had hoped never to do again (there's a reason their tickets are so cheap). That being said, July is my last month in the Bay Area. I'll keep you posted as to how I decide to feel about this.
