That is one of my favorite things about NC. I used to live in Winston-Salem. For 8 years. My heart is with the state. In fact one of my tattoos (tiger lilies) were inspired by the thousands of blossoms I would see on the side of the mountain roads going up to my grandparents house.

So many smells and colors remind me of the beauty and simplicity of that area. There aren't honeysuckles in FL. There aren't trees that change colors. There aren't enough cool mornings. Not enough grass. I miss my home.
