New Year's Lilith

Today is the anniversary of my name.  Would a better word be birthday?  One year since a mikveh in the Dead Sea.  Did I come out purer? I've read Motherless Brooklyn. It was really quite fascinating, I liked the main character and the Tourettes syndrome....just thought I'd throw that in : )
