I love Passover.  Normally, I have issues with how many Jewish prayers start out with "oh, God, who is so great and powerful and could crush us all like bugs..." But Passover's refrain is and because we once were slaves, and now are free, may we help all those who are slaves to someday be free.  I gave money to a Darfur relief charity.

when rae and i went to jewltide, rae officially became the most outgoing person that i know. after chatting up various folks (w/a dizzying hangover no less), rae spotted a boy who she proclaimed cute. only a few moments later, i see her chatting up said boy, and i do believe they became friends. rae knows how to talk to people- that's a good skill. i don't. i also remember our first day at heeb, dragging a big ol' suitcase around manhattan, weaving through the protests, being inagurated into internship hell.
