I am currently reading George R. R. Martin's "A Game of Thrones."

It is ok. I could do without the sections that are like a trashy romance novel though.

Those books are pretty awesome. The best thing is that no character is safe in them. He kills people like theres no tomorrow and it is for the awesome. They do drag on a bit sometimes, but its worth it in my opinion.

The trashy roman novel stuff keeps on through all of his books. That being said, the story gets better and better as you keep reading.
