Yes, yes, it is voting day. You should exercise your right to vote. But learn about who you are voting for first. Voting based on someone's slick campaign ads is worse than not voting. Voting because of someone's sex, race, color, ethnicity is worse than not voting.

Be an informed voter.

Went to the Danzig Blackest of the Black show last night in Houston at the House of Blues. Ate dinner there in the restaurant before the show. It was pretty good, but a bit pricey ($9 burger w/fries). Saw Henry Rollins spoken word tour on Friday. He was awesome. He stepped on stage, wrapped the mic cord around his hand and proceeded to talk non-stop for 2.5 hours, the mic in his death grip the whole time. He signed autographs after the show outside the venue.

I'd recommend going when he comes to your town.

Go watch his stuff on youtube.

If you are thinking Obama or McCain is the lesser of two evils, then you are deceived. There are more political choices than Republican or Democrat. But they both got some facts wrong, or at least mis-stated them to support their own party views.
