Woke up at 5am in the morning (its not often I see it from this side of the day) took longer than I should have to get ready and took a taxi in to this BNI event with the "Sunshine" chapter (sleep deprived members, meetings in the dark, chapters?). As you can never be too careful I quickly scribbled an elder sign on my notepad

You'd also do well to get yourself on Linked In and connect on there to the people you meet at these functions. Then they have a way to let you have any referrals or to easily point people in your direction without having to make sure they keep your business card handy at all times. Ian's a member, so should be able to show you the ropes if you're unfamiliar. Remember to add me as a contact if you do. :-)
