i think it's possible that old ways can transform into the future! or at least, a new launchpad for the future.

like in an RPG when you return to your hometown and visit your old house and finally the back door is unsealed and you get the super EX godslayer sword that was there all along.

shit, that analogy really made me want to do it :]

if i do it, and i stay for more than 3 months, then you can tell me i'm fucking up.

Psh, like I know you... but I've been a fan for a while, and I think from our (or at least my) perspective, taking time off to make sure you're putting love into your work... the fans will understand.

If they dont, I'll... have... to complain?? I dont know.

i doubt i'd even really "take time off"-- i can't stop wanting to make art and stuff... more like, i just want to take time off from talking/living comics when i'm not at my art desk, making them.

Ah, of course. It's funny how much a hobby becomes a job, and something that you do for fun (also known as a hobby) becomes an obsessive lifestyle.

DAMN YOU LIFE!

... Well make sure you put up an addy so I can order some pins(off your site) haha... yeah...

oh man... stress is the worst! but I know exactly what you mean, it's a struggle that's been haunting me since I started my professional comics career, too. The balance between care for the project, quality, inspiration, finances, and deadlines. Comics can be tough! Kean, Kazu, and I are here in Alhambra drawing our comics. Kean leaves tomorrow but today's all-work day. If you wanna stop by and work with us just give us a call! I'm even cooking lunch and dinner for everyone (tuna melts with tomato soup, then carne ranchero fajitas)! Take care of yourself, Corey.
