Oh man. Death Note. It started off so well, but then the plot changes and it just goes downhill until the crash-and-burn horrible lame ending. I really loved that manga but woosh what a letdown!!

aw man is this true?! I've read vol 1 and 2 and loved it so far! I'm upset people who get to the end talk like this! :(

it is SO true. I dont know if the writer was just required to keep the story dragging on for waaaay longer than it ought to have or what... But when it gets to the major plot change, you'll know. You'll be better off stopping there and pretending that's the ending O_O

Really love Death Note, particularly the first whole story arc of Light vs L. Have to agree with questionstar though, the finale of the series was quite disappointing, but I guess maybe the creators didn't want to drag it on any longer? I have no idea.

GANTZ is a whole another awesomeness. I think it just got better and better as it grew. A very unpredictable series!

7? Crap. Ive only made it up to volume 5 so far. And yeah, even i can tell it wont be as good as the way it started. But oh, well. It's still a gem and easily one of my favourites.

GANTZ is totally good, and the end of part 1 (volume, like, 19) is the most surprising thing EVER. I wish to God someone would license it, because I'd gladly pay for it.
