I have not made much progress. My wrist is getting worse, swollen, painful all the time. Tendinitis. How tedious. I've run into some obstacles in my vegan project, namely that Veda is not independent enough yet to make cooking practical. Although I did manage to wash a few dishes today while she played on the floor. It was a big milestone for me.

It just means a small, mass-marketed, standard-size paperback edition that is cheaper than the nicer hardback edition. I think. That's how I've always used it.

I don't mind hearing about babies and parenting at all, even though experiencing those things-- having a baby and being a parent, rather than being a baby and having parents-- is a long way away from where my life is right now.

I'm pretty sure Julia's right about trade paperbacks. I don't mind hearing about baby stuff, either. I like babies, and I like to know what it's like to be a parent. I hope your wrist feels better soon.
