Work report blues

I'm stuck in a bit of a report-writing rut. Everytime I look through what I have, maybe work on it a bit more, I feel like I'm getting somewhere. Then when I stop and do something else, I can't stop thinking about what a piece of crap it is and how much I have left to do. Personally, testing is essential. Not only to you learn the developed product, but you also learn the flaws in the design. That makes you a better designer/developer.

And technically, you are developing, but instead of developing DirectX modules/DLLs/bug-fixes, you are developing the critical tests that prove a design's value (or send the designer back to the drawing board).

Testing is a great introduction and a great way to see the big picture. If you do a term of DirectX testing, you can then move into developing much easier, as you will have the big picture.

Keep your chin up! Maybe we could go skiing if you come back out West!
