You know, I really do try to respect the standard liberal screed about having respect for other cultures. I feel kinda bad when something annoys me just because I don't understand its cultural context. But there's a point where, looking from the outside in, you just have to stop and wonder what the FUCK is wrong with these people.

I wouldn't feel bad Avias. As far as I'm concerned, that entire region of worlds is just an evil, horrible place. Yes I said it.

Admittedly, my own experince have taught me first hand just what a crock the whole facade that is painted about it. It seems even our own media these days is shy from saying anything negative about the culture there.

All the more reaosn to get off the oil and get an alternative energy source. Lets see how these countries do when their one export dries up and they can't even support themselves.
