So, backstory. Several weeks ago I started developing issues with my DSL connection. It was doing this weird thing where it would never actually drop the connection, it'd just randomly stop transferring any data. The standard 'reboot everything and hope it goes away' fix wasn't working, and since they couldn't find any issues with the phone line

During December I know that our local UPS does deliver on Sundays....they don't TELL anyone that they do but our local branch does.....

Verizon tech support is evil and useless. I know, because I worked for them. Everybody good there gets hired on elsewhere within a year. Everybody else...well, I'll say my alcoholic housemate still stumbles drunkenly to their call center for work every night.
