My LUMIX Panasonic DMC-LX2 has something close to a bulb setting. It will take time lapse photos with preset 15, 30, or 60 second intervals. So I used the 15 second and just kept taking pictures. this was the best but I have a few more.
I REALLY REALLY like this camera. For the size it does a LOT! And it can do RAW photos. You should check into one. They cost about $350 but WELL worth the price! I have the black version. Here is a link to a review. http://www.dpreview.com/news/0607/06071904panasoniclx2.asp
From what I hear Leica makes the camera and Panasonic puts their name on it. You can buy the exact same camera with the Leica name on it and it costs about $100 more. It has a Leica lens and takes great pictures.
Glad you liked the Photo. I really like capturing and looking at Lightening photos since you cannot study them when they happen it is so cool to be able to look at a lightening bolt.
I use to spend hours in the mountains above Los Angeles at Mt. Wilson Observatory with chuckvideotaking time lapse photos of the city and stars and storms. That was when there were no digital cameras and you had no idea how the pictures turned out until you developed them. I have some great pictures on film. I need to scan in my old time lapse photos.
Was just browsing through LJ for skydiving and found you. Had to stop and say awesome picture! It took me a lot of shots to get something similar to that. Love the AZ monsoons. :)

I remember the monsoons of Phoenix when I was working on that reality show in town a couple years back, they're simply incredible.
