I like taking naps in my parents' bed. It smells clean and the pillows smell like my mom.

Did you know that smell is the most powerful sense tied to memory? It is. I know that seems fishy, but its true. I can also always recall the way my mom's pumpkin pie smells and the aroma that filled my house when I would wake up and my mom had made bread.

No, I knew that, and I totally believe it. Suntan lotion smells like middle school, and by association, reminds me of stupid girl fanzines with JTT on them. Breakfast smells remind me of home and getting up on weekends to eat breakfast with dad and mom. Etc. Etc.
