and actually, I have NEVER thought about this, BUT was intrigued by your line of thinking ,,,
Maybe - cheating oneself - would be NOT trying your hardest ,,, or NOT making your best efforts at something - whether its school, or art, or even Life itself - so, if one's full potential is left unrealized .... its like one has cheated oneself????
