Well, the Dursleys rank up there. They're easy.
Ultimately I don't like Molly Weasley. I realize she's a source of maternal love for Harry and all that, but her actions are overprotective and smothering. And what is it with her that she can't remember that Ron doesn't like corned beef or the color maroon?
Ron and Ginny. Taking out the shipping equation entirely, Ginny's character was developing nicely in OotP to become part of the Six, only to be turned into a snotty jealous brat in the next book and a nonentity by the end (or is there another reason Harry didn't go looking for his "soulmate" after his defeat of Voldemort?). While I know Ron is supposed to be the lovable sidekick, part of the comic relief, his attitude as a student pushes all of my buttons: lazy, looking to cut corners, only interested in sports, jealous over the wrong things, and offended when his brainy friend won't come to the rescue. And Rowling's idea to mature him was to have him read a self-help book and go cursing Muggles who stand in the way of something he wants or needs.
But most of all I detest Snape. I realize he's supposed to be some kind of tragic hero and that a lot of people like him, but I cannot forgive him being the worst kind of teacher there is. He lets his personal feelings rule his actions, preventing him from teaching Harry and by extension the other students in his class. As a teacher myself, I know how important it is to NOT give in to those grudges, NOT to let my personal irritation/anger/dislike of a student color how I teach or how I grade. And Snape pisses all over that because he can't get over his hatred of James.
