I'm aware that I've been nonexistent on lj but the second I heard this news, I knew I had to come and see what you had to say. It was one of the first things that came to mind. ("Well, look who's the delusional one now!" "This is 7 years TOO late, but I'll take it." "Oh god, I bet the fandom is imploding. I need to check lj!")

All that being said, I'm happy with this news. I honestly think that she just let her characters run away from her and then spent more time ignoring them and trying to fight them back into line. If she had only let them tell the story... *sigh* But nonetheless, I can accept this.
