Sent off my second English column earlier today. I really like this assignment, because I really like the writing I'm creating out of it. So, I plan to post all my columns here, in case you're interested. This one is about

...so trying to establish an informed opinion about a controversial subject is "offensive"?

Oi. Maybe this column would be a problem for elementary schoolers, but as high school students, we should be mature enough to read a column like this and see it as what it is: an opinion on a topic.

I found it really interesting, for what it's worth. Nicely done!

Well, it's not like it was a person reading it thinking "No, I refuse to send this." It probably was just triggered because of a specific word we aren't supposed to use. ('Whores,' perhaps?) I was more thinking "Oi, really bad AI."

My teacher didn't object, and one person in my class thought it was the best of the (25 or so) essays this time, so I don't think my classmates particularly objected either. I'm sure people giggled, but that's understandable.
